W.D. Doughty, 84, of Tivoli died at the home of his son, W.D. Doughty, Jr. Mr. Doughty was a native of Goliad and had spent most of his life in Robstown. He was one of the first TexMex Railroad Agents. Services were at the First Methodist Church with The Rev. A.A. Ward of the First Presbyterian Church officiating. Robstown Funeral Home. Burial in Robstown Cemetery. Survivors: Wife, Alice Barnes Doughty of San Antonio; daughter Mrs. Nelson Krause of Paris, France; sons R.A. Doughty of Orange, California, C.C. Doughty and John Richard Doughty of Houston, Jesse Doughty, Preston Doughty, James Doughty and Roy Doughty of Corpus Christi; sister Mrs. V.V. Downing; brother A.C. Doughty of Edinburg.
