"A habit cannot be tossed out the window; it must be coaxed down thestairs a step at a time."

-Mark Twain

I started teaching group exercise classes in 1995.  This was after I dropped 100 lbs., I was on fire and determined to share this new love of working out.

Teaching classes was always a big part of my life, it was nothing to have a class a day.  I loved meeting new people and pushing them to reach their goals.  As a reporter, I enjoyed and needed the extra cash.   Of course, sweating was always a good way to reduce stress.

In October of 2006, perhaps burned out, I quit teaching.  I still worked out on my own, but I gained alot of weight.  I went from working out a few hours a day, mostly teaching classes, to three or four times on my own and eventually to several months of nada.  What I'm learning is 20 minutes a day is okay.  I'm looking for that happy middle.  JMD
